Use this tool to update existing NFTs with pre-existing Metadata CIDs. If you've already generated updated metadata using the Data Manager, you can use those CID links to replace the current metadata on your NFTs.

Your Collection must have the Metadata Key set to update NFT metadata after minting. However, if you are the Treasury Account, you can update the metadata of NFTs that are in your possession without needing the Metadata Key.

What you'll need

  • Token ID β€” The Collection (Token ID) containing the NFTs you want to update.
  • NFT Serial Numbers β€” Which specific NFTs to update.
  • CID Links β€” The new metadata CIDs to assign to each NFT.
  • Metadata Key β€” Required to sign the update operation.

How it works

Provide the new CID links for each NFT you want to update. The tool will replace the on-chain metadata reference with the new CID. You can provide CIDs by:

  • Copy and Paste β€” Paste CID links directly from a spreadsheet.
  • Import a .cKBL file β€” Import CIDs generated previously with the Data Manager.

Step-by-step process

Enter your Token ID

Input the Token ID of the Collection containing the NFTs to update.

Select NFTs to update

Choose which NFTs (by serial number) you want to update.

Enter the new CID links for each selected NFT. Review the metadata preview to confirm the changes.

Sign and confirm

Review all update details and confirm the transaction. The Metadata Key is required to authorize the operation.

If you created the Collection using Account Mode (your account's public key), Kabila Wallet will automatically detect it and you'll only need to sign the transaction with your connected account β€” no need to manually enter any private key.
